Yeah … but no … but yeah … but no … but …

A reference to one of my favorite British comedy sketch shows. Also, my internal dialogue over the past 2-3 days, debating whether or not I should go spend an afternoon photographing random strangers in public places for my portrait class this week (snapshot aesthetic is the current assignment).

The weather has not been so cooperative this week for spending an afternoon outside. Not necessarily constant rain, but waves of rain coming in intervals throughout the day. And the temps became considerably more chilly yesterday as well. But it’s just as well, as I can spend the time with Handel and my lovely collection of tuning forks.

I made it out the door after lunch yesterday, only to get to the tram stop and turn around and come back to get my travel card. Then I decided to check the weather for the next few hours. It looked like it would be drier after 3, so I stayed in for a bit, started a pot of chili, and sang some Handel. At 3:45 I got ready to leave again but decided to forgo a trip up into “town” and just photograph around this area. Got the travel card, left the house, and ended up sitting in a pub reading some letters and magazines.

Got back at quarter to 7 and tasted my chili. The hottest chili EVER! Lordy . . .
